Wiseacres Ragdolls is a licensed breeder of mink Ragdoll kittens for sale or Cherubim mink Ragdoll kittens for sale. We are located just outside of Booneville, Arkansas on our farm. We breed a variety of Ragdoll kittens in various colors and patterns and have recently decided to include minks or Cherubim in our breeding program.
We are happy to announce that as of 2024, TICA has elevated the Mink Ragdolls as a new class which they have named “Cherubim”, allowing for these gorgeous Ragdolls championship status within the Association! Since we register our kittens with TICA, we will use this term interchangeably with Ragdoll on our site.
What is a Mink Ragdoll or Cherubim Mink Ragdoll?
The Mink Ragdoll or Cherubim is not a new breed or a new pattern of Ragdoll cat, it’s a bloodline that can be traced back to the very first Ragdoll cats bred by Ann Baker. They are purebred Ragdoll cats, as confirmed by SBT and TICA. While most breeders use traditional Ragdoll cats, a few breed traditional Ragdolls and minks.
They are called “Minks” because their coat is smoother than the coat of the traditional Ragdolls — the mink’s fur actually feels like luxurious mink stole. Mink Ragdolls have a silkier, plusher coat than traditional Ragdolls with a plush tail. “Cherubim” refers to the TICA classification for purebred Ragdoll cats with mink, sepia, or traditional colors.
As they grow bigger, their eyes change from black to a beautiful blue color. Our mink Ragdolls have lighter aqua-blue eye color compared to the deeper blue-eyed traditional Ragdolls. Depending on the light, the difference is subtle but when they are side by side, you can see it. See photos below.
Another difference is that mink Ragdoll kittens are born with their color. Traditional Ragdoll kittens are born white and their colors slowly come in. See below for examples.

Ragdoll kittens are the perfect pets
Mink Cherubim Ragdoll kittens, and all Ragoll kittens are known for their beauty and non-shedding coats, but they are also known for their amazing personality. The Mink Ragdoll kitten has a relaxed temperament like a child’s ragdoll. Mink Ragdoll kittens and cats love to be held and petted, but still have a playful personality when they are young. When Mink Ragdoll kittens and cats play, they tend to be more gentle than other cat breeds by not extending their claws. They make the perfect indoor cats that are quiet, playful, relaxed, and very loving. Since they are docile, they also get along with children and other pets easily. Mink Ragdolls are also highly intelligent. With a bit of patience, it’s possible to teach them basic tricks like ‘fetch’ and ‘roll over’. Mink Ragdoll kittens are also know to be one of the best cat breeds for people with allergies. The lifespan range you may expect from a Mink Ragdoll cat ranges anywhere from about 12 years up to 23 years of age. Ragdoll cats living between 20-25 years of age is not unheard of. Your little Mink Ragdoll kitten will grow up to be a large cat with semi-long silky hair and the most stunning bright blue or aqua eyes. The combination of beauty, intelligence and sweetness, makes the Mink Ragdoll kitten the purrfect pet.
Research suggests that owning a kitten or cat “can lead to lower levels of depressive symptoms and improved mood.” Ragdoll kittens have been found to “buffer responses to stress through lowering the heart rate and blood pressure, which can help individuals manage their mental health illness.
